Join Us as a Trustee – Accountant (Voluntary Position)
Location: Brighton-based with Sussex-wide impact
Time commitment: Approximately 6–8 meetings per year, plus occasional support as needed

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our Board of Trustees and help shape the future of a dynamic and inclusive charity committed to empowering people of all identities, cultures and ages across Sussex.

The Role
As our Treasurer Trustee, your financial expertise will support the Board in ensuring strong governance, sound financial management and long-term sustainability. You will work closely with the Chair, CEO and Head of Finance, bringing strategic oversight and clear guidance on financial matters.
Your Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who:
Is a qualified accountant (or has equivalent financial expertise).
Has experience of financial planning, management and reporting.
Can clearly communicate financial information to a non-financial audience.
Is passionate about social impact and community empowerment.
Shares our values of inclusion, collaboration, creativity and integrity.
