Job opportunities at Brighton Chamber
Events & Marketing Assistant
This is an opportunity to join the Brighton Chamber team and to help us to put on and market our brilliant programme of events.
The Events & Marketing Assistant role is a busy, fun and exciting one. There are lots of moving parts to creating stand out events, from the design through to marketing, as well as being there on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly. There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and learn new things.
Would you like a job where you can make a difference? Are you curious, a brilliant communicator, like to learn, and good at noticing the detail?
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys managing and keeping on top of a wide variety of tasks and working to deadlines.
The Events & Marketing Assistant is also a people person role and involves getting to know lots of members, venues, suppliers and learning what our talented business community want and need to thrive.
Brighton Chamber is a not-for-profit independent organisation. We help and support our members and the wider business community. We bring people together to connect and learn from one another and we keep them informed about useful initiatives. Our events are welcoming and inclusive for members to get to know each other, network, build their business and get ideas, inspiration and support – and the same goes for our team, too.
The Chamber is a collaborative effort and you will be working closely with the rest of the Chamber team. Hear from Amy and Hannah what it’s like to work at Brighton Chamber, and see what a day in the life could look like for you.
The first two months will be based in our office at Eagle Labs, with the opportunity for some hybrid working after that. The job is full time, 37.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri.
Salary is £23,400 per annum. We run the Brighton & Hove Living Wage Campaign – so we are a Living Wage employer too!
