DabApps helps bring Amaze's Story Trail to life across Brighton & Hove

Brighton software and AI engineering partner DabApps is supporting Amaze Sussex’s Story Trail as a sponsor and as the team behind its visitor app.
The free public art trail runs across Brighton & Hove until 8 November, bringing BookBench sculptures to streets, parks and open spaces. Created by Amaze in partnership with Wild in Art, it encourages people to explore local artwork and stories while supporting Amaze’s work with families with disabled children.
DabApps built The Story Trail app to help visitors find the sculptures and discover their stories. The project continues a relationship with Amaze that began in 2014: DabApps created and supports the Compass Card and Carers Card apps and has provided ongoing support for both pro bono for several years.
DabApps is also sponsoring Hedgerow Haven by artist Danni Smith on Queen’s Road. The bench celebrates Sussex hedgerow wildlife, from robins and butterflies to the elusive hazel dormouse.
The trail is free to explore. After it closes on 8 November, the sculptures will be brought together for a farewell weekend at The Brighton Centre from 27–29 November, followed by an auction on 30 November to raise funds for Amaze.
