Blueprint Coaching and Training Ltd
My name is Jon Hill, and I'm the Director of Blueprint Coaching. I'm also a training facilitator, coach, writer, father, husband, and perpetually frustrated Aston Villa fan.
My whole career has been in the arena of behaviour change. I spent years working in the prison system, helping people to change their offending and substance misuse behaviours. I worked as a career coach, helping people to change their jobs and lifestyles. And I feel I've truly found my calling working with individuals and groups to help them change longstanding habits in order to build their psychological flexibility and their resilience.
I quit my 9 to 5 job and went into business for myself in 2012 and have never looked back. In 2008 I suffered a severe burnout and realised that almost everything had to change. I now look back on what at the time felt like a crisis as the biggest breakthrough of my adult life. My experiences then fundamentally inform the way I live and work today.
Today I do work that I love, that I know I am good at, that allows me to keep growing and developing, and that allows me to enjoy life with my family and friends.
I run workshops around resilience, energy management, and leadership development - when I'm leading a workshop I bring fun, energy, humour, and an absolute commitment to helping people change their lives for the better.
I'm also a professional coach - when coaching I offer a warm, safe, challenging space where clients can build their inner resources and work towards goals that may have seemed out of reach in the past.
I have a strong grounding in mindfulness, and have co-authored two books on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Acceptance and Commitment Coaching (ACC) - mindfulness-based approaches that help people to find a peaceful foundation from which to pursue their goals.
