Hello Future 2026
Inspiring your next step
The world of work is changing faster than ever. Careers and jobs that didn’t exist ten or even two years ago are becoming an essential part of the business landscape and careers are becoming less linear. For young people entering employment now, that landscape is challenging – with less entry-level jobs and more young people not in employment, education or training.
Hello Future is returning on 3 December to The Wing for another year to help young people get a step up, be inspired and discover the skills they need for employment. It’s a day designed to get them excited and hopeful for their future careers with the support of the local business community, and you and your team are invited.
Join over 60 local employers with a free stand to talk to young people about your organisation and career. Whether you talk about essential skills, stepping stones, starting out jobs or squiggly careers, you’ll be helping to set young people up with the best chance of success in finding a meaningful career at this important stage of their lives.
You might be a creative business, an entrepreneur, a professional service, a charity, working in tech – or someone who’s had their own squiggly career path. We’re looking for a diverse range of organisations and people to come along.
You’ll be talking to 16-24 year olds from local secondary schools and colleges, and young people who are looking for employment, education or training, to help them discover some of the brilliant businesses and careers that are right on their doorstep.
One conversation might make all the difference to a young person taking their first steps towards employment.
Hello Future is delivered by West Sussex, Brighton and Hove Careers Hub and Brighton Chamber.
Headline sponsor Brighton & Hove City Council supported by Shoreham Port, Rampion Offshore Wind Farm, Amadeus and Enjoolata Foundation.
