Cast your mind back to yourself at 16 years old. Decisions to make, paths to follow, and the great big future ahead of you.
What would have helped you decide on your career at 16? Did you have the tools and knowledge to decide what you wanted to do? Did you know what skills you’d need, or what jobs were out there?
You and your team are invited to be part of Hello Future 2024. It’s a day designed to inspire young people, help them take a dive into the skills required for different jobs and careers, and a chance for them to talk to you at this key time in their lives.
Hello Future has been facilitating conversations about careers between businesses and students since 2022. It’s connected over 100 businesses with more than 1500 students across Brighton, Hove and beyond.
This year, we’ll be taking over the newly refurbished Syndicate Wing at Brighton Centre on 14 November, 10.30am-6pm.
Could you be one of over 60 businesses, employers and entrepreneurs joining us to inspire the next generation entering our workforce? You’ll be helping over 800 young people explore – not just the skills they have or need – but the jobs, skills and career paths that would suit them.
Whether you talk to young people about entrepreneurship, pathways, squiggly careers, or more linear ones, it’s a full day of stands, and talks to engage young people with their future.
Hello Future is delivered by West Sussex, Brighton and Hove Careers Hub and Brighton Chamber, sponsored by American Express and Rampion Windfarm, with support from Shoreham Port.
