Working for yourself has its perks, but having a Christmas party for one may not be one of them.

This year, we're bringing together Brighton's freelancers, sole traders and one-person businesses for our first ever Solopreneurs Festive Lunch.

Join us at Lost in the Lanes on 15 December at 1pm for a festive lunch, a drink, and some brilliant company to round off the year. Whether you've been working for yourself for years or have only just taken the leap, this is your chance to beat the FOMO from employed friends and have your own Christmas party. Celebrate with others in the same boat and meet some new people who may well become business friends or collaborators.

There'll be a little gentle networking involved (naturally), but this one's about getting together and celebrating your business in good company.

Christmas jumpers and sparkly earrings always encouraged but not compulsory – and there's no rush to get back to the office, so you can always make an afternoon of it.

So come along and raise a glass to the joy of working on your own in 2027!

FAQs

Who is this event for? This event is for solopreneurs or micro-business owners with a team of 5 or less.

Can you cater for dietary requirements? We do our best to accommodate dietary requirements where possible. However, as we work with a range of venues, we may not be able to cater for more extensive requirements.

To give the venue enough notice, please make sure you include any dietary requirements in the order form when booking your place - we are not be able to accommodate requests made on the day of the event.

What's the refund policy? Tickets are refundable up to 7 working days before the event start time. After this deadline, tickets are non-refundable; however, they may be transferred to another person for the same event or to another event of the same value. To arrange a transfer, please email Poppy at poppy@brightonchamber.co.uk  with the booking name and details of the new attendee or preferred alternative event.

Can I attend if I am not a member of the Chamber? This event is for members only. If you have never been a member of the Chamber you can book and join as a guest at two of our events (just one Chamber Breakfast). After this, you will need to join the Chamber to enjoy the benefits of membership. If you'd like to join the Chamber you can find out more on our website.
