Get your walking boots on and join us for this gentle walk exploring the route of Brighton’s lost railway, which used to transport day-trippers from Brighton station to Devil’s Dyke.
We’ll be picking up the trail in Hangleton (easy parking and buses) and following the very gentle incline up onto the Downs, passing the sites of the old train halts and enjoying great views of the Downs and sea. Meeting at the Dyke Railway Trail Car Park. The walk will take roughly 90 minutes (we may finish slightly after 11:30am so make sure to plan accordingly), stopping halfway round for coffee, tea and snacks at Brighton & Hove Golf Club.
Unfortunately, this walk is not suitable for dogs as they are not allowed inside the Clubhouse.
Led by Steve Bustin of Get Your Voice Heard, we’ll be walking, talking and networking as we explore a different part of our beautiful city.
We’ll take it at a steady pace that encourages natural conversations and genuine connections. You’ll meet like-minded business owners and leave feeling refreshed, inspired and recharged.
Netwalking has been a highlight of the Chamber events calendar for over four years, taking us everywhere from seafront trails to bluebell woods and Brighton’s iconic coastline. It’s more than just a walk – it’s a chance to build genuine connections, get inspired and discover the stories of Sussex’s landscapes.
