Circularity Sessions: Sustaining a Circular Business
A practical, founder-led session exploring how SMEs are building viable businesses that embed circularity into their core.
About the event
Circularity Sessions are hands-on workshops designed to help local founders, designers and product developers take practical steps toward building circular products and services. These sessions focus on real examples from people who are already doing the work, not theoretical frameworks.
What this session covers
In this first session we explore how businesses are designing for repair, reuse, longevity and reduced waste—while still meeting customer needs and running commercially sustainable organisations. You’ll hear from founders who have adapted their business models, made difficult trade-offs, and found opportunities in circular approaches.
Speakers
Jo Barnard, Founder, Morrama – award-winning industrial design agency and certified B Corp.
Emer Gillespie, Founder & Creative Director, Spark & Bell – Brighton-based lighting studio centred on craftsmanship and sustainable production.
Who it’s for
SMEs, early-stage product businesses, designers, makers, community organisations and anyone interested in circular innovation in the South East.
