Each year, we run our Annual General Meeting (AGM). As you might imagine from a Chamber that’s made up of hundreds of different dynamic and bold businesses and personalities, a Brighton Chamber AGM is no ordinary AGM. It’s much more than just sharing numbers, data and stats. It’s about the story of your business community over the last year, and your opportunity to get together with other members to reflect on the year just gone, celebrating what’s to come in 2025/2026.

As you’re a member of our Chamber community, we’d love you to join us on Zoom on 7 May at 10am for an hour to look back and look ahead.

We’ll start with a whistle-stop tour of what the Chamber achieved in 2025, looking back at some highlights with the Chamber President, Sara Bassett.

We’ll hear from incoming Vice President Kerry Watkins, a long-standing Chamber member about her Chamber story, and how the Chamber has supported her business over the years.

Next, Mark Crowter will run through the important numbers and financials (we have to have some numbers in it after all…) before CEO Sarah Springford, and Amy Lishman, Head of Member Engagement & Deputy CEO at the Chamber, share what we have in store for the next 12 months.

We’ll also need your help at the AGM – voting to approve the 2025 accounts (available in advance soon) and to elect or re-elect the Board members who are standing.

And, because our AGM is all about you – our members – there'll also be time to catch up or make some new connections in small groups and share your own successes from the last year.
