Accelerate your nonprofit’s social media impact

Only 25% of charities and nonprofits would rate themselves as excellent on social media. And for many, social media feels harder than ever: time is limited, budgets are tight and engagement isn’t what it used to be.

So how do you make social media work harder for you in 2026? And how do you get the skills, confidence and ideas to share content that genuinely makes an impact?

In this practical, insight-led workshop for nonprofits with Kerry Watkins and Lucy Lindley from Social for Good, you’ll explore the biggest challenges nonprofits are facing on social media, and what to focus on next year to improve performance, boost engagement and make your content go further.

You’ll get an insight-driven look ahead to 2026, learn tried-and-tested tactics to tackle common challenges, and take part in fun, creative exercises to help you build a bank of strong content ideas to take back to your team. You’ll leave feeling more confident, more equipped and ready to make more impact with your social media marketing and communications in 2026.

In this session,we’llcover:

  • What nonprofits are struggling with most on social media
  • Key tactics to focus on in 2026
  • An 8-step process for creating a social media strategy
  • The Content Challenge: a creative game to generate a bank of content ideas

You’llcome away with:

  • A clear understanding of how to adapt your social media for better performance in 2026
  • A tactical approach to marketing with limited time and budget
  • Practical exercises you can take back to your teams to spark buy-in and generate more content
