Why I am booking my ticket for this year’s Brighton Summit

Ahead of this year's Brighton Summit Jill Woolf, Chimera Communications, caught up with Chris Cummings of OGC Solutions to find out why he has booked his ticket.

Why did you decide to go to the Summit last year?

I attended the Summit last year for three main reasons:

1. To learn new techniques / skills that would help me in my business
2. To network with other like-minded individuals / business owners in the local area
3. To hear from the keynote (Gandys Flip Flop founder) 

What was the best outcome of the day for you?

I really enjoyed the inspiring keynote and the interactive sessions that gave me a different perspective on some common business issues. Overall, I like events that are both informative and enjoyable because you can take time out of your business, get a different perspective, share ideas and learn in a relaxed environment, and the Chamber Summit certainly achieved that.      

What one thing did you do differently as a result of going?

During one of the sessions I was in a group with people who had similar challenges on time management and we worked together and helped solve the issues. I'm pleased to say the advice I got from the rest of the group has been very helpful and my time management has improved significantly.
