The Whitehawk Inn invite you to the Sussex Writers Awards at the Grand Hotel on May 4th.

The gala event will be the glittering finale to The Sussex Writers Awards, a competition to find the best new writing talent in Sussex. The winners will be announced at the event – novelists Kate Mosse, Louise Rennison and Peter James will be there to entertain and mingle with guests. As well as a delicious three course meal, there is a great line up of musicians providing entertainment late into the night. All this for £45!

Whilst it’s not a fundraiser for the WHI (no buckets or appeals for cash on the night) the event will raise the profile of The Whitehawk Inn and the great work they do: they will be showing a short film highlighting some of the lives that have been changed through their project.

Support the event by buying some tickets – maybe even a table! It promises to be a great evening.

The General Manager of the De Vere Grand Hotel has kindly donated a luxury prize for 2 guests to enjoy a night's stay including dinner and breakfast valued at £650. For a chance to win this free prize, guests will need to apply for a 'Lucky Grand' ticket at an additional cost of just £10. The 50 limited tickets will be issued to the first 50 applications recieved. The draw will take place during the evening.
