Just when you thought you've seen it all…

 

 

Over 150 decision makers have already booked their space for the ACUMEN BUSINESS CONVENTION. The 2016 convention marks the seventh year of this prestigious event, and it has been a huge success every single year. 

 

The ACUMEN BUSINESS CONVENTION 2016 will start with a three course lunch at the Grand Hotel. This year the lunch will be followed by outstanding speakers including Lord Karan Bilimoria, Founder of Cobra Beer who will tell his story of building the cobra brand, leadership, entrepreneurship, and UK/India relations. 

 

Also on the convention stage will be Kevin Byrne, Founder of Checkatrade and one the UK’s leading entrepreneurs. Kevin will be sharing how he took an idea with no investment to a business turnover of £15m that generates £2.7b a year for the trades on-board.  His story will include the often ignored principals of building the right culture in your company and how expectations are the driving force of success. Kevin has multiple regional and national awards; ‘Entrepreneur, Businessperson, Company, Fund raiser and Healthiest work place of the year’ all at the prestigious Sussex Business awards and two years running they have been in the Sunday Times Top 100 small businesses to work for. His pioneering efforts in combating the rogue trade problems have been awarded with The Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2014.

 

Delegates will then learn how to Become Brand Famous and How to give your Business Celebrity Status, by Linzi Boyd the author of Brand Famous. Linzi will explain that business leaders are still spending millions on their business brand while forgetting to build the brand of their people. Businesses have yet to realise that aligning their brand with the profile of people in the organisation will enhance the brand and open different channels to market. Aligning ‘people’ with ‘brand’ improves an organisation’s brand ‘realness’ and creates a unique voice in the market.

 

Finally Penina Shepherd, Founder of ACUMEN BUINESS LAW will share her thoughts on The Freedom Revolution- what’s the best that can happen? Penina will show that now is the time to shift your businesses to another dimension and to do that you need to break the business shackles, give up all the business preconceptions that weigh you down and join the freedom revolution.
