Fab free creative workshop sessions with Evolution Arts

There’s nothing more engaging than a bit of creative activity – especially working together with a group of like-minded people!

Evolution Arts are holding a unique afternoon of short snappy workshops with the key ingredients: creativity and fun. You’ll have the opportunity to produce or appear in a Famous Film Scene; try your hand at Stop Motion Animation; or pen a piece of Flash Fiction. They'll keep you moving through a range of activities. It’ll be a fascinating afternoon of trying new things along with other Chamber of Commerce Members. Plenty of time for tea and chat! 

They have over twenty years experience in providing creative and inspiring adult education in Brighton & Hove, and we’re confident that their tutors will deliver a memorable afternoon.

The afternoon will consist of short sessions including:

1. Introductions with some “added fun” to ease you into the afternoon.
2. Lots of tea & cake!
3. Stop Motion Animation Workshops:  Bring drawings and objects to life in short films!  An illusion of movement can be created by moving an object in a sequence through photographed ‘frames’. Then play back the ‘frames’ at speed.  A story magically appears!
4. Flash Fiction Workshops:  The short short story – or stories of 300 words or less!  Fast becoming one of the most publishable forms of creative writing and great for developing language, writing and communication skills.
5. Re-create a Famous Film Scene:  Think Jaws, Brief Encounter or When Harry Met Sally!  They'll have a mini film production unit ready and waiting.  You can either star in, or produce and direct your own favourite film scene.  Or both!
