College offering new course for budding entrepreneurs

City College Brighton and Hove is launching a ten-week course in the New Year aimed at budding entrepreneurs. 'Starting Your Own Business' covers areas such as legal and regulatory requirements, marketing and selling a product or service, the financial needs of a business and the key elements of starting and running a business. These will be developed and incorporated over the duration of the course into a professional Business Plan.

Dawn Howard, City College’s Team Leader for Employment-Based Professional Studies said: “This course is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who perhaps have a good business start-up idea but need to understand the fundamentals of getting a business off the ground and the type of skills and qualities that they’ll need to develop to make the enterprise sustainable.”
