Chamber Ladies Ready To Rumble!
It's exciting times at the Chamber as myself (Laura Evans, your friendly Business Navigator) and Membership Manager Abby Moreton prepare for our boxing debut on 2nd May, in an effort to raise money for a well worthy charity: Cancer Research UK.
Yes, you read that right… we will be boxing at The Grand Hotel in front of a baying crowd, hundreds strong, at a black tie event as part of the Ultra White Collar Boxing series of events which run across the nation. These events see men and women who have little or no experience of boxing stepping into the ring to duke it out with a similarly matched opponent after just 8 weeks of training. We must be mad!
Past the halfway stage of training at the Underground Gym and with fight night fast approaching, we would really appreciate any support you can offer. You can buy tickets for the night from us for £20 each or you can sponsor us via our JustGiving pages. Even just a few quid makes a difference and will give us a boost knowing the Chamber members are behind us!
