A call to Chamber members

Over 60 volunteers are regularly involved in the Chamber in a variety of ways. Some help out as Chamber Ambassadors meeting new members and guests at events, or lead a Bite-sized learning session. Some offer their particular skills whether it be marketing, HR, design  or photography. All these people’s contributions make it the thriving Chamber that it is today.

As a member or follower of the Chamber you may have thought about things you think we should be doing, or ways that you’d like to get involved. We’d really like to hear from you with your ideas. It could be helping to organise an event, engage a sector, pilot a piece of software you have created, run a specialized forum, or take on a responsibility.

Here are some of the things we are looking for right now:

• SEO review of the website
• Practical tips and strategy for Facebook for business
• PR expertise
• Bloggers
• Video expertise
• A trainer to run a customer service Bite-sized Learning session
• Someone to lead a Bite-sized Learning session on Twitter
• Copy writers
• Designers
• Help on the sign in desk at our monthly breakfast
• Mailchimp and Youtube expertise
