Brighton & Hove Sustainability Conference 2010

The next annual Brighton & Hove Sustainability Conference will be held from the 15-16 April 2010 at the Cockcroft Building, University of Brighton, delivered by Brighton & Hove Council Sustainability Team.

The conference will be focusing on a marine/sea theme, and is titled – ‘The Evolving Seas: Policy, climate change and the impacts and opportunities for local marine resources and ecology.’ The conference will cover a variety of key topics including marine policy (including the marine bill and marine spatial planning), and the impact of sea-level rise and climate change to local ecosystems, the coast and local economy/tourism and off-shore energy generation including wind, tidal and wave.
