Brighton and Hove Business Awards 2015

Tue 19 / 05 / 15

Brighton and Hove Business Awards 2015

The Brighton and Hove Business Awards 2015 (in association with The Argus) is now open and businesses have until Friday 26 June to submit up to three entries.

Back for the tenth year, the BAHBAs are the biggest celebration of business success in Brighton.

Sponsors this year will be Allied Irish Bank, Aspect 8, Boxharry, Brighton and Hove City Cabs, Cardens Accountants, Classic Consulting, Gemini Print, Graves Jenkins, Martin Searle Solicitors, Robinson Low Francis and Yelo Architects.

Media sponsors will be Title Sussex, Juice 107.2FM and The Argus.

The BAHBAs are supported by Brighton Chamber, Brighton & Hove City Council, Brilliant Brighton, the Brighton Business Curry Club and Brighton & Hove Tourism Alliance.

They have all come together to create a competition which acknowledges the diversity and uniqueness of Brighton and celebrates those companies, organisations and individuals who really build the Brighton brand.

The Awards will be chaired by the editor of The Argus, Mike Gilson, who commented: “I am delighted to be chairing this year’s awards and listening to what is bound to be intense debate among the judges. The standard of entries reflects the fantastic achievements of local businesses and these excellent awards are an annual chance to celebrate that. I expect a long and interesting meeting.”

The judges will be looking for companies and organisations that really capture the spirit of Brighton & Hove. Innovation and leadership are considered more important than size or revenue.

To find out more about the various categories, head to www.bahba.co.uk. Businesses can enter up to three categories and deadline for submissions is 26 June 2015.

The Awards will be presented on Thursday 4 September at All Saints Church in Hove.

Previous winners of the Brighton and Hove Business Awards include some of the City’s biggest and best loved names including: Gresham Blake, European Recruitment, BrightonandHoveJobs.com, Dental Health Spa, Ambiental, Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival, Bohemia Grand Café & Late Lounge, The American Express Community Stadium, Hotel du Vin, Jurys Inn Hotel, Green Mop, Infinity Foods, Duke of York’s Picture House, Brighton Dome, Brighton Festival, Dockerills and Sussex University.

If you’re not sure what category is best for your business, just give the organisers a call on 01273 666200 who will happily talk you through some options.
