Be the first to see the new World Stories Gallery at Brighton Museum, 20th June

If you are going to State of the City on 20th June do come and have a look at the new gallery at Brighton Museum first – invitation below.

A special preview evening for the business community will be held on Wednesday 20 June 2012, 4.30 pm - 6.30 pm

This fantastic new gallery features Brighton Museum’s stunning collections from Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Pacific alongside contemporary art and artefacts.

Over 200 young people from communities across the city and from around the world have worked at every step of the way to create this stunning new gallery with Brighton Museum.

Images, sound and film bring the displays to life, with hands-on activities and a comfortable seating area.

To promote the widest possible access this new gallery offers audio description (via RNIB PenFriend), British Sign Language invision and things to touch and do.

New investment in Brighton Museum is helping the City stay ahead.  Situated in Pavilion Gardens, Brighton Museum is a leading visitor attraction and one of the most popular heritage destinations in South East England.

Part of the London 2012 Festival and the Cultural Olympiad programme Stories of the World.

Come and join them for a tour of the new gallery and for refreshments

Please let them know if you can come along - email. suzy.horne@sam-culture.com
