2012 procurement opportunity: developing an events database for the Olympic Games

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) requires an online events data management and publishing service (events platform) to host and serve events listings to a number of web and mobile applications for London 2012.

This tool will provide a single source for listing public-facing events from now to the period of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including cultural, community and big screen events. The events platform will be capable of ingesting data from multiple sources, and outputting data in industry-standard formats. It will also support access by multiple users across a range of administration and publication roles.

For more information about this opportunity, download the attached PDF.
