Head Chef

Key Qualities
Open seven days a week 8am to 4pm, Port Kitchen at Shoreham Port serves artisan coffee, fresh local food and alcohol in a modern, welcoming space. The ideal candidate will have a passion for catering and enjoy working in a busy Back of House café environment.
Our Head Chef holds overall responsibility for ensuring the kitchen maintains high standards including placing orders, stock management, and complying with all Health and Safety requirements. As a member of the management team, they will periodically review the menu, adapting to the seasons and ingredient cost changes. They will have a proven track record in a chef/cook role and will be keen to optimise kitchen processes.
Our Head Chef will inspire their team and lead them to constantly improve Port Kitchen.
Pay/Benefits
In return for your energy, skills and passion we offer the fascinating and lively workspace of the Port as well as:
£30,000 per annum
28 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
