Brighton Yoga Foundation is registered charity (since 2016) that works to bring yoga to those who would benefit from it the most. We organise and deliver yoga community outreach classes all year round to people who would not normally have access to it: women recovering from domestic abuse and sexual violence, people with mental health conditions, stressed teenagers, children in school, people recovering from addictions or serious illness etc. We have also run the highly successful annual Brighton Yoga Festival since 2014, and other services for the yoga community. Brighton has the largest yoga community per head of population in the UK (and possibly in Europe). But yoga is expensive and many people think "it's not for people like them". We have a track record of helping the most vulnerable people locally experience the great benefits of yoga and helping them to turn round their lives.
